About the Role This outstanding role will drive initiatives relating to organisational change, structural realignments or new ways of working across the Department of Transport & Planning. You will also map out the prioritisation and ownership of improvement and alignment initiatives, utilising your stakeholder management skills.
The Senior Business Process Lead is expected to take on complex improvement projects spanning across multiple groups as well as external partners to DTP. While the position will provide analytical capability and deliver productivity improvements, it is key for this role to coach and educate members from the business to create a sustainable improvement mindset across the organisation.
Effective Collaboration and management of multiple stakeholders at senior level to ensure high quality deilvery.Work with the business to capture macro processes for functions impacted by change.Undertake an assessment of the impacts to macro processes as a result of the change.Develop a change/continuous improvement work plan that maps out business areas that may be impacted by change initiatives.Oversee the delivery of complex improvement projects by ensuring that timelines are met, deliverables are achieved, and tangible business benefits are realized.Prepare executive reports and presentations for key stakeholders including the transformation program roadmap, project plans, analysis papers, business cases and risk registers suitable for a diverse stakeholder audience.Influences senior stakeholders towards decision making utilising data and advanced expertise to achieve best possible business outcomes.Work with the Organisational Reform team, P&C and across businesses to access organisational readiness for change.Collaborate with BII to redesign and implement changes to macro processes to ensure process workflows are aligned with the change.Support external consultants involved in the change as required.Efficient coordination and team support to enable the Organisational Reform function to successfully deliver projects and support the Project Managers in the team.Support the Executive Director of Organisational Reform as required. Key Selection Criteria To be successful in the role you will be a dynamic individual who excels in working collaboratively and demonstrating exceptional flexibility and adaptability. You will also need to foster a supportive team environment and be able to engage with other teams to share information and address issues. 
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Able to translate strategies into programs or projects that enables achievement of outcomes required.Capable of considering wider business context within business unit when using options to resolve issues. Identifies recurring problems and prevents future recurrence.Able to understand the broader context when reviewing an issue and is future oriented in analysis, thought and action.Ability to understand clients or stakeholders' context to design and implement systems for continuous improvement within team or organisation.Experienced in building and maintaining partnerships to achieve objectives.Capable of identifying and managing a range of complex to facilitate innovative solutions to resolve stakeholder issues.Qualifications and Experience Experience in process mapping and process documentation principles.Knowledge about Business Process Management frameworks; experience in Nintex Promapp or similar applications.Advanced experience in Microsoft applications e.g. PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint.Skills in project management or process improvement frameworks are desirable.Previous experience in internal or external consulting practices would be beneficial.People management, mentoring, or coaching experience.
