Operating since 1840, SAWIA represents a diverse mix of members, including family-owned businesses and corporate operations. Their mission is to provide valuable resources, advocacy and solutions on a wide range of topics including work health and safety (WHS), human relations (HR), industrial relations (IR), environment and liquor licensing. This practical and supportive guidance helps members prosper in an ever-evolving global wine market. In response to industry need and to continue building SAWIA's organisational capability, SAWIA has created this new role.Reporting to the Business Services Manager, this role is responsible for spearheading, directing and delivering tailored advisory services to grape and wine businesses across South Australia on behalf of SAWIA. As the organisation's lead specialist in WHS, HR, and IR, this role will confidently and expertly engage with Boards, business owners and operational staff with high-level technical expertise and leadership presence in equal measure. The Senior Business Partner will drive member service excellence, including proactively anticipating and addressing the evolving needs of SAWIA's membership through the provision of timely, bespoke, and reliable consultancy, education and training initiatives.A public facing role, you will be an energetic, motivated and trusted HR and WHS practitioner, with deep experience in the interpretation of multiple industrial instruments and the ability to translate complex information into the development of usable tools, commercial services and practical advice. As a technical expert across WHS, HR and IR, with an inclination for hands-on discovery and problem-solving, you will thrive in an environment where the pace and complexity can change rapidly.
