The Senior Business Financial Crime Risk Manager will play a significant and critical role in the success of WPB's objectives and outcomes with regards to deterring, detecting, and protecting against financial crime risk. The role will report to the Head of Financial Crime Risk for WPB and be responsible for a number of key financial crime activities, specifically, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption (AB&C), oversight over the Client Selection & Exit Management (CSEM) processes and lead the annual Enterprise Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA) for WPB. As a people leader with direct accountability for the above activities, the Senior Manager must ensure the primary operational aspects are managed effectively to achieve strategic business and customer outcomes in a sustainable, ethical and cost-effective manner, and in accordance with the Financial Crime Global Standards, working closely with local, Regional and Global stakeholders.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across local WPB, 2nd line Risk & Compliance, offshore Global Service Centres (GSCs), and also Regional and Global functions.Accountable for the implementation of 1LoD Sanctions and AB&C related processes and controls to ensure compliance with Global Policy and Line of Business Procedures.Own and oversee the effectiveness of financial crime controls and be the point of escalation for any complex matters and cases, by providing subject matter expert (SME) input to relevant stakeholders.Lead the annual Enterprise Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA) exercise for WPB, in order to comprehensively assess our inherent AML, Sanctions and AB&C risks and effectiveness of key controls.Maintain direct oversight over the Client Selection Exit Management (CSEM) execution by the Operations team, and be responsible for the review and update of related processes and procedures, committee Terms of Reference and engagement with the Regional and Group committees as required.Lead a team and provide direct support, coaching and mentorship to ensure continued growth.
