We're on the lookout for an Account Director or a Senior Business Director looking for the next step in their career to join our healthcare client service team, based in beautiful Pyrmont.
This role is very much a strategically led, client-focused position looking after a key healthcare client.
The Senior Business Director is the client's brand champion, leading strategy development for the assigned account.
They will lead account management and the cross-discipline agency team in developing and delivering exceptional campaigns, flawlessly executed while meeting client needs.
The Senior Business Director will also ensure the efficient day-to-day management of their accounts.
As a Senior Business Director, you are also responsible for the growth and profitability of assigned accounts, attaining annual revenue and profitability targets.
No two pieces of business have the same requirements, so the Senior Business Director must work closely with their teams to ensure clarity on the division of responsibilities and ensure that they are best set up to deliver to client needs and tap into the different agency functions, where appropriate.
It's the Senior Business Director's responsibility to set the tone and mood of the team and to begin to direct the structure and running of the account.
Key responsibilities: Competent in all the responsibilities of a BD/SAM/AM/AE and may need to perform these responsibilities at times (when team structure does not cater for that role).Oversee or actively manage the day-to-day running of accounts.Be a trusted and valued strategic advisor to your clients.Orchestrate the perfect team for the client.
Identify areas where support could be required and ensure the client feels supported across every project we are trusted with.Ability to build a solid, unshakeable relationship with clients and the internal team.Exhibit strong commercial awareness, flawless budget understanding, tracking, and reporting to client and agency stakeholders including Financial Director, Practice Leads, and Group Business Director.Provide strategic guidance and direction for each client.Seek new opportunities linked to current clients and/or drive new business opportunities.Develop quarterly client plans including relationship strategies and identification of opportunities for business growth and strategies to drive this.Develop the professional competencies of Orchard colleagues.Ensure we are Inventing Better across everything we do, and striving to raise the profile of the agency.Client Service: The Senior Business Director is responsible for the working relationship with the client.
Strategy and Creativity: The Senior Business Director is responsible for the strategic direction of each account.
The Senior Business Director can reach out to other agency resources if support is required; however, it is expected that this support would be minimal.
The Senior Business Director must also strive to ensure that the agency is delivering the best creative output possible.
New Business: The Senior Business Director plays a key part in the new business process.
Team Management: The Senior Business Director ensures an effective, collaborative team culture is maintained within the broader team.
They will build and maintain strong relationships across agency departments (e.g., Project Management, Strategy, Creative, Design, Development, L&D) with the objective of getting the best out of these services while ensuring resources are used appropriately and efficiently.
Skills and experience: 8+ years advertising agency experience (preferably in the healthcare industry).A passion for digital or healthcare marketing.Proven ability to develop sound marketing strategies.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Excellent organisational skills.Excellent attention to detail.Strong financial management skills.Strong drive and motivation to succeed.Proven ability to work within a team and for leading high-performing teams.Show a strong commitment to the Company's core values of: Collaboration, Integrity, Curious & Brave.Embrace and respect the Company's community and environmental responsibilities.If this sounds like you, please apply today!
