As we continue our rapid growth, we are seeking a passionate and strategic Senior Business Development Partner to assist with Healthia's ongoing growth strategy.

Role OverviewAs the Senior Business Development Partner, you will assist the end-to-end process of mergers and acquisitions, from deal origination and due diligence to negotiation, execution, and post-merger integration.
Reporting to the Group Chief Business Development and Strategy Officer, you will be instrumental in identifying strategic acquisition targets, conducting financial analysis, managing transaction structures, and ensuring successful integration.
In addition, this role will require you to coordinate and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive value creation through clinic acquisitions, mergers and assist in the development of large multidisciplinary allied health hubs.
Key Responsibilities:Transaction Initiation & Execution Assist in building a pipeline of potential business development and growth opportunities.Identify acquisition targets aligned with the companies strategic goals.Develop and present acquisitions, mergers and other growth initiatives and opportunities to Healthia's senior management team.Perform preliminary commercial due diligence and financial analysis on acquisition targets.Build financial models using company benchmarks and forecastsAssess transactional risks and deal structures to align with Healthia's growth strategy.Work collaboratively as part of Healthia's M&A team to complete due diligence enquiries across finance, legal, tax, and operations.Work collaboratively as part of Healthia's M&A team to assist the analysis of financial statements, leases, payroll, third party contracts and operational data.Assist in the preparation of the due diligence reports for capital allocation committee and acquisition approval packs for the board.Deal Structuring & Negotiation Work in the M&A team to develop optimal transaction structures.Assist the drafting and negotiation of NDA, HOA, and other transaction documents.Collaborate with company Chief Business Development and Strategy Officer, General Counsel and CEO on final transaction documents.Commercial Analysis Assess integration risks, post settlement alignment with clinic partners, potential commercial pathways for team leads and potential growth opportunities.Work collaboratively with the M&A team to prepare financial projections and scenario analyses.Assist the preparation of conditional approval packs for potential commercial growth opportunities aligned to company strategy.Strong communication and negotiation skills and proven experience in presenting to executives.Liaise with internal stakeholders, vendor and vendor's advisors in the end-to-end transaction process.Work with the wider M&A transactional team to oversee agreement finalisation.Resolve issues and ensure smooth settlement.Post-Settlement Integration Assist the wider M&A and support office team with integration planning and execution utilising Monday software program.Assist the Group Integrations Officer and wider support office team with integration support for the initial 3 month period post settlement.Work with the Chief Business Development and Strategy Officer and M&A Senior Project Accountant to monitor post-acquisition performance.To be successful in this role, you will possess the following attributes:Collaborative team player.Strong commercial knowledge and understanding of the successful operation of allied health businesses and knowledge of allied health professionals.Knowledge of the basics in M&A, corporate finance, and corporate development.A proactive, solutions-focused approach.Detail oriented, ability to work autonomously, follow process and handle stress and multiple tasks.Practical experience partnering with allied health business operational teams.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Ability to prioritise and manage competing workloads and priorities.Adaptability and flexibility to changing work environments and requirements.What's on OfferA competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A collaborative and supportive work environment.The chance to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve.Ready to take the next step?Click APPLY NOW and join a thriving healthcare business!
