Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify, target, and secure new business opportunities for subscription-based products and data analytics services.

Client Acquisition: Proactively identify and engage potential clients, understanding their business needs and challenges.
Use a consultative sales approach to present data-driven solutions that align with their objectives.
Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the energy industry.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients by delivering high-value insights and solutions that support their business goals.
Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure.
Work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and product positioning.
Market Insights: Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape within the energy and data analytics space.
Leverage this knowledge to enhance the value proposition of the company's products and services.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's subscription products, data analytics tools, and service offerings.
Be able to clearly articulate the benefits and features to potential clients.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and client services, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
Provide feedback to improve product offerings and client experience.
Reporting & Forecasting: Track sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.

Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales, specifically in selling subscription-based products or data analytics solutions, ideally within the energy sector.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience managing complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder relationships.
Strong understanding of data analytics tools and how they apply to solving business challenges within the energy sector.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior decision-makers.
Experience working in a consultative sales environment, with a client-centric approach to identifying and solving business problems.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Strong organizational and pipeline management skills, with experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track and manage sales activity.
Preferred Skills:Background in the energy industry, particularly in energy markets, renewables, or carbon markets.
Experience selling to utilities, energy traders, or large energy consumers.
Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies for new markets or product lines.
