Airport Development Group (ADG) owns and manages diverse infrastructure assets across the Northern Territory including airports, hotels, aviation, and commercial buildings. Investing, developing, and managing long term infrastructure to grow the Territory and Northern Australia.
The primary objective of the Senior Business Development Manager role is to grow the ADG annual net property income by identifying, structuring and delivering new commercial developments on ADG's airport land bank.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is driven and passionate about retail and commercial property development. In conjunction with the EGM Commercial, you will be responsible for identifying the strategic direction and key opportunities for the development of the Airport Development Group's airport land bank.
Key Responsibilities include: Create marketing and communication strategies to attract new partners and tenants to do business with ADG.Work with prospective tenants to collaboratively design and cost plan their property requirements.Lead the preparation of leasing proposals and secure agreement with prospective tenants.Lead the preparation of detailed business cases.Oversee the delivery of the development through to handover to the Property Management Team.To be successful you will have: Tertiary qualifications in property, town planning, business/commerce, or project management.Significant experience in commercial property development and development leasing.Proven track record of initiating and structuring new property transactions.Strong property analysis skills.Demonstrated experience in retail developments.Self-starter, highly motivated and disciplined.Excellent oral and written communication skills.A high level of computer literacy especially MS office applications.It is desirable for you to have demonstrated experience in industrial and office developments.ADG offers a competitive salary with a range of benefits including: Professional, diverse and modern workspace Employee Health & Wellbeing initiatives including a living well rebate Free shaded car parking facilities Hotel, Restaurant and Retail employee discounts Flexible working optionsAdditional 5 days bonus leave Employee events, awards and recognition initiatives Based in tropical Darwin in the Northern Territory, ADG is a collaborative, challenging and exciting place to work with an evolving portfolio.
