As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our domestic and international growth, fostering strategic partnerships, and shaping the future of market insights.
Position: Senior Business Development Manager
Location: Sydney, flexible WFH arrangements
Package: $130k-$180k base + superannuation + profit share/uncapped commission - Base will affect commission structure.
This role will suit a candidate who loves the "Hunt" uncovering and developing new clients, previous experience with Insights and behavioural science or a psychology background.
Role And Responsibilities
Identify, cultivate, and establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in various industries to expand our market reach and drive revenue growth. Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions that align with their business objectives. Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships. Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas of growth. Utilize insights to refine our offerings and stay ahead of industry shifts Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Collaborate with the sales team to drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance our brand presence and network with potential clients and partners.
Qualifications
Minimum of 6 years of successful business development experience, Demonstrated experience within a sales capacity for a market research provider or similar Familiarity with market insights, data analysis, and trends in the business intelligence landscape. Ability to envision and execute innovative business strategies that drive growth and market expansion. Exceptional interpersonal and networking skills to establish and nurture relationships with potential clients and partners. Demonstrated proficiency in consultative selling, negotiation, and closing deals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts and solutions. Comfortable in a fast paced startup environment with the flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities.
