Senior Business Development Manager (Ground Transport) | Sydney or Melbourne CEVA Logistics provides global supply chain solutions to connect people, products and providers all around the world. YOUR ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager (Ground Transport) to develop and drive our Transport Sales Strategy. The role is pivotal in shaping market understanding, competitor analysis, and service offerings within Australia & New Zealand. 

The role is flexibly based from either of our Sydney (Orchard Hills) or Melbourne (Truganina) offices.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:
 
Lead key meetings and negotiations with potential clients and business partners to secure business opportunitiesOversee the implementation of the annual business development plan and budget revisions in collaboration with the Ground & Rail division to ensure targets are achievedWork closely with the Solution Design, Operations, IT, and Legal teams to effectively execute the sales strategyDevelop, manage, and align the sector strategy with the sales and marketing objectives to ensure cohesive business operations. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 
Our ideal candidate has significant, proven experience in solution sales, business development or strategic account management, as well as:
 
Solid experience gained in transport, lead logistics, third-party logistics or relatedStrong commercial and financial acumen, with skills in cost modelling, risk identification, and mitigationExcellent communication and presentation skills, capable of building effective relationships and influencing at senior levelsExpertise in managing client relationships and skilled in negotiationBonus: tertiary qualification in logistics / supply chain, business or related
In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
