The Role Our software engineering teams have built some of Australia's most popular websites and apps, with millions of unique visitors each year to our digital platforms. The G'day Group is undergoing a significant period of growth and is investing in technology and business processes to ensure we can provide market leading digital experiences for our customers. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of a team delivering solutions for a state-of-the-art ecosystem that is transforming the regional accommodation industry.
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Digital and Cloud team. The team is working on delivering new and exciting digital applications that provide our users with a better user experience. This role reports to the Lead Business Analyst, and will work closely with whole scrum team, as well as with the other Business Analysts.
Your role responsibilities will include:
·Work closely with product owners to elicit, analyse and define requirements
·Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies
·Write user stories, epics, and functional specifications
·Work closely with developers to ensure that business requirements are understood, and that all the relevant details are included in the user story
·Ensure that appropriate documentation is created and updated at all stages of the project
·Assist in the preparation of business cases and project evaluation activities
·Process mapping (current and future state) and identifying opportunities for processes improvements
·Support the design, development, and delivery of the change management plan
·Lead business requirements gathering and process design workshops.
Your Experience Relevant tertiary qualifications, combined with working knowledge of business analysis principles, methodologies, and tools.Your preferred working style is to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.You will have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be flexible and adaptable, able to work in a rapidly changing environment. Your stakeholder management skills are critical to your success.Your collaborative style is a natural strength, as is your business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
You will possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, autonomy, initiative, and attention to detail to be successful in meeting the business demands at G'Day Group. Your naturally upbeat and open style will fit our cultural values. You will have a highly organised mindset with the ability to assess the urgency of work allocated to you by various stakeholders.
