Senior Business Analyst - WEM Reform

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join a leading energy company in Perth's CBD for a pivotal WEM (Wholesale Electricity Market) reform initiative.
This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise and contribute to significant changes in the energy landscape.

Perth CBD based.
Hybrid working.
$850 a day
Inclusive of superannuation
Exposure to working alongside one of Australia's largest energy providers.
12-month rolling contract.
WEM (Wholesale Electricity Market) reform initiative.
THE ROLE:
Lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for the WEM reform project.
Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Utilize your knowledge of the 5-Minute Settlement and other regulatory reforms to drive project objectives and compliance.
Identify and recommend improvements to current processes and systems in line with new regulatory requirements.
Develop and deliver detailed reports and presentations to senior management and other key stakeholders.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst in the energy industry.
Strong understanding of pricing strategies, principles, and regulatory frameworks including the 5-Minute Settlement.
Previous experience in the Electricity retail or Energy Wholesale market is highly regarded.
Exceptional skills in managing and building relationships with stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong facilitation skills.
Ability to think strategically and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
