Senior Business Analyst - Information Security Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia (Hybrid) Key Responsibilities: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Cyber Transformation Delivery, guiding the team on best practices and emerging trends.
Work closely with stakeholders across the Information Security Group to identify, analyze, and document requirements for security initiatives.
Support the delivery of strategic information security projects, ensuring alignment with the organization's cybersecurity objectives.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather insights, define project scope, and establish requirements.
Translate complex technical concepts and security requirements into clear, actionable plans for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate in a hybrid work environment, combining remote and in-office interactions to foster communication and efficiency.
Requirements: For success in this role, candidates should have an Intimate awareness of Cyber Security Controls, Design Efficiency and Operating Efficiency.
The ability to combine this with strong and clear communication skills, a demonstrated ability to work directly with stakeholders and customers and previous experience in Vulnerability Management and Security Posture Management Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst (6+ years BA experience), with a focus on Information Security or Cybersecurity projects (5 years).
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, frameworks, and best practices.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders and present complex information clearly.
A background in cyber transformation or information security strategic initiatives is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote work with in-office collaboration Candidates must be based in Sydney with full work rights.
