Your new role
This 8 Month contract sits in our wider L1 risk and compliance team.
It has been created to contribute to the design, development and embedding of a scalable, simple and repeatable approach to delivering appropriate and sustainable remediation outcomes for members and the Fund.
These approaches and methods must accommodate for the successful integration of uplifted processes or lessons learnt back into BAU and consider the role our third-party service providers in remediation activities.
Ideally you will have delivered complex remediations and know how to execute remediation end to end often through ambiguity.
Key duties include but are not limited to:

Document business requirements to create discrete datasets to form the basis of the scope of remediation.
Write high quality remediation methodology documentation that is legible and executable by relevant subject matter experts.
Define and table remediation and compensation methodology for decision ensuring it includes meticulously documenting rationale for decisions to evidence our requirements under RG277 and results in remediating our members honestly, efficiently, and fairly.
Analyse and interpret complex data to support business making decisions and influence stakeholders from a multitude of different disciplines with a clear vision to gain agreement on priority work to execute.
Analyse incidents to form a view on scoping, scheduling and capabilities to deliver to support the PM to author a funding request.
Estimate effort and sequencing of own activities to support delivery schedule and identify impacts to other initiatives or capabilities to identify schedule issues.
Collates and authors insightful reporting to the relevant governance fora with clear calls to action with a metricated view of success.
Champion a continuous improvement culture and remain vigilant to reject the status quo.
Operate and make decisions according to the Fund's Policies, Standards and Procedures and the Fund's Key Decision Registers and the delegated authorities.
Utilise some SQL skills to query and manipulate data from various sources, and well as perform quality assurance and testing procedures.
Ensure relevant legislative and organisational requirements are met; keep up to date on all key changes to relevant regulations.

What you'll need:
Significant previous experience on building and utilising tools and calculators specifically for remediation purposes.
Explicit understanding of RG277.
Previous experience on large-scale or complex remediations.
Ability to author business requirements, process and methodology documents and clearly articulate technical concepts.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Previously performed controls to manage risks.
Subject matter expert in administration and insurance product datasets desirable.
Solid understanding of valuations, unit price, performance and other transactions that impact members account balances desirable.
Proficiency in SQL highly desirable.
