About the role
The Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP) is a transformative initiative aimed at revolutionising rail transport in Queensland. We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team and play a key role in understanding and enhancing system operating processes to align with the program's goals.
Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include
• Engage with the SEQ operational teams and other stakeholders to analyse, document, and map current and future system operating processes and requirements.
• Collaborate with the system integration team to ensure accurate and actionable delivery of operational insights.
• Analyse and document transparent operational workflows and processes and develop clear and concise documentation, reports, and recommendations.
• Conduct process analysis to identify areas for improvement and alignment with new systems.
• Apply and support the future state analysis to the testing and transition activities including troubleshooting issues and ensuring system readiness.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across various teams to gather insights and foster collaboration.
About you
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an operational or transportation systems environment. (experience with business process tools and standards desirable)
• Strong skills in requirements, process analysis and documentation/report writing.
• Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Experience with testing, transition activities and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results.
