The program will change the way we do business, and you could be part of it.To succeed in this role, you will have strong BA skills (minimum 4 years') and have been a previous Suncorp employee. It is essential that you possess first-class communication skills and be comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels.You will have the opportunity to join our large Analysis Chapter that supports a variety of medium to large scale programs across the Suncorp Group. The Chapter consists of around 200 like-minded analysts, where ideas and best practice are shared via masterclasses and knowledge sharing. You will support projects being delivered in a continuous delivery model (Agile) as well as initiatives using traditional project delivery models.Suncorp is proud of our fantastic culture where you will be supported in your career development.What you'll do:Build strong relationships through engagement with customers, colleagues, and other key stakeholdersDocument current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently.Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable.Create detailed user stories to support delivery.Work close with squad / project members, including but not limited to Delivery lead, Scrum Master, Developers, Tech Leads, and Business stakeholders to identify, capture, plan and deliver the scope of work.Mentor/train team members; participate and contribute to Business Analysis Chapter and/or forums providing insights and thought leadership.Suncorp offers a hybrid way of working where you will be expected to be in the office approx. 2 days per week.What you'll bring:ESSENTIAL: Minimum 4 years' business analysis experience in a project/delivery orientated role; from a large organisation and on large transformation projectsPREFERRED: Previous experience working for SuncorpMinimum 3 years' Agile, Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitationSome understanding of testing/QA would be advantageousMust be able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements.Must have excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various levels of stakeholders internally and externally.Strong problem-solving and negotiation skillsStrong team player with a positive, proactive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a differenceMust be able to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines, while also working autonomously.What we can offer you:Discounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as banking and insurance products.A range of flexible working and leave options, including 20 weeks paid parental leave, 4 weeks secondary carer leave, and unlimited paid emergency response leave.Invest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programs.Give back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching and paid volunteer leave.Prioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee council.About Suncorp Group:We're proud to be a part of the Suncorp Group family alongside some of Australia's most trusted and diverse names in insurance.
