The opportunityWe have an exciting and dynamic opportunity for an experienced business analyst to join our team in Sydney. This role will significantly impact the strategic decision-making process across our generic and innovative pharmaceutical portfolios.
The successful candidate will focus on providing in-depth business analysis, market insights, and financial evaluations to identify business opportunities and drive growth. They will evaluate pipeline and in-market products, conduct competitive analyses, forecast market trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development strategies.
How you'll spend your dayConduct deep-dive market analysis on pipeline and in-market products, contributing strategic insights to shape portfolio management decisions.Analyse large datasets, track KPIs, and deliver impactful reports and dashboards for senior leadership.Work with Regulatory, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to align business analysis with product development and lifecycle management.Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify opportunities and threats.Lead financial assessments, develop models, and analyse the financial impact of market dynamics.Ensure data accuracy across all functions and deliver clear, actionable insights to drive alignment and decision-making.Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment of pipeline strategies.Your experience and qualificationsBachelor's degree in business, Business Analytics, Finance, Life Sciences, or a related field.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the pharmaceutical, MedTech, or medical devices industry, or if you have worked as a consultant in those industries.Strong technical skills with data analysis tools and Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint).In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical product development, market access, pricing strategies, and lifecycle management.Knowledge of generics and innovative products would be beneficial but not essential.Proven track record in market research, competitive intelligence, financial modelling, and strategic analysis.Experience working with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Regulatory, Commercial, and Marketing.Strong communication and presentation skills.Strong business acumen with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.Enjoy a more rewarding choiceGenerous leave, health, and wellbeing benefits.Commitment to ongoing personal & professional growth via a blend of learning opportunities.Parking available at our Macquarie Park site.Opportunity to join a leading global organisation with a network of 37,000 employees operating in 60 markets, with 25 R&D sites.Make a difference with Teva PharmaceuticalsPlease submit your CV and a Cover Letter.
