The BB EBB Customer & Risk team are an integral Line 1 function that supports all business product teams to meet their strategic objectives. The team are also accountable for assisting Business product teams with managing their product risks. We do this by effectively identifying, understanding, managing and controlling risks in order to maintain Business Banking's overall risk appetite.The BB Customer Remediation team are accountable for customer remediation on product incidents.This is a 12 month Secondment or Max Term Opportunity.See yourself in our teamProviding technical and/or logical assurance over a high profile pipeline of product and system remediation projects that will further stabilise and enhance the business banking systems;You will support the Program Director, Principal Product Owner & Scrum Master, Senior Business Analyst (Remediation), playing an integral role in ensuring that Remediation Guidelines are adhered to in determining and managing the scope, requirements and systems designs for the projects;Specifically you will:Work collaboratively with Product Owners, scrum masters, technical experts and testers to review, define, calculate and deliver Remediation and Refund activities within Remediation Guidelines to meet business and customer needs at all timesWork with the Program members to provide assurance on project scope and requirements, according to the following principles:A consistent customer experienceA future proofed end to end system and processOperational risk reductionIdentify and manage gaps, determining the effectiveness of proposed solutions and developing Business Requirements documents and modelsIdentify and raise the risks associated with the Remediation approachEnsure solutions meet the requirements outlined by the Regulator and the external independent validatorProvide active input to the planning and run-sheet activities for remediation deliveryEnsure the Product Owners and Scrum Masters are informed of all activities/opportunities/risks, and where necessary escalate issues/problems quicklyApply a logical and common-sense approach to the process of gathering, organising and synthesizing large amounts of information from various sources, and have responsibility for accurate and complete record keeping of all eventsUndertake any other tasks assigned by your manager that you have the capability to perform safely in line with relevant internal Bank policies and external regulatory requirements.We are interested in hearing from people who have:Business analysis experience in a financial services environmentDetailed understanding of banking products and their features (lending, deposits and/or transaction banking), including an understanding of interest calculationsAdvanced Excel skillsExperience liaising with senior stakeholders to deliver on complex tasksComfort with working across multiple streams in a fast paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.Demonstrate a strong commercial acumen with a desire to base decisions on data and business valueExperience working with bank lending, merchants, payments or transaction productsRelevant business undergraduate qualifications or relevant business experience (Mandatory)Recognised industry certifications, including Agile project delivery qualifications/certification (Desirable)If this sounds like you, apply today!If you're already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you'll need to apply through Sidekick to submit a valid application.
