ABOUT THE ROLE This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled  Senior Business Analyst to join the early stages of this client's next data program wave.
You'll play a pivotal role in bridging technical contexts and business needs, developing project briefs, and delivering artefacts that drive decisions.
Reporting to senior leadership, you'll work independently initially, with the scope to influence and grow the team as the program evolves.
DUTIES Build strong business stakeholder relationships to gather and refine requirements.
Develop project briefs and artefacts aligned with PRINCE2 methodology.
Collaborate with technical teams on data visualizations using tools like Power BI.
Translate technical contexts for business stakeholders and vice versa.
Support the evolution of the delivery lifecycle toward Agile practices.
Work on existing user cases and develop new solutions with data teams.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Strong grasp of BA fundamentals, including stakeholder engagement and artefact creation.
Professional BA certifications highly regarded.
Experience in data domains, with familiarity with Microsoft tools (Power BI, Azure Data Catalogue).
Proven ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new challenges.
Utilities sector experience desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication, self-starting attitude, and relationship-building skills.
Familiarity with PRINCE2 and Agile methodologies.
