How will I help?
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting strategic decisions within our KYC/AML program. Collaborating closely with Business Analysts, Data Analysts and technology and business stakeholders, you are accountable for bridging the gap between the business & technology communities to support the delivery of tailored fit for purpose solutions that meet the needs of customer and the product vision in the fincrime world.

Key Responsibilities:
Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood by the whole team.
Data analytics capabilities for analysing the portfolio to generate different reporting and metrics.
Identify shortcomings in the risk and compliance framework, policies and processes and provide and implement recommendations.
Facilitate client engagements for breach management actions, remediate obligations, track incident/issue management progress and provide updates to client management.
Analyse existing and proposed controls and procedures and prepare recommendations where revisions, additional efficiencies are required.
Support in remediation activities of the client, where breaches identified.

What do I need?
Experience in a comparable KYC, policy, framework related project BA role in a Financial Crime environment.
In-depth knowledge and experience in Regulatory/Risk Framework.
Good understanding of complex customer types - Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, Associations etc.
Understanding of AML/CTF and Sanctions regulatory frameworks.
Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders across multiple divisions.
Proven experience in a specialised operational team in a large organisation.
Proven experience working in financial crime programs specifically in the areas of transaction monitoring, sanctions, KYC, AML screening and areas of regulatory reporting like TTR, IFTI, SMR.
Appian Expertise Desirable.
