What you'll do We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who is highly technical to join the Payments Gateway team that is responsible for scheme card acceptance at Wpay. The Payment Gateway team is responsible for Wpay's in-house built gateway to process card present and card not present transactions and work with partners to ensure our multi-gateway strategy is achieved. They will be responsible for driving out the solution design and preparing stories so they are ready to be taken into the sprints for development. This will be achieved by working within the Scrum Squad and eliciting requirements from multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, for Wpay. This role will need to ensure external vendors are delivering the requirements as specified through the acceptance criteria. This role must work closely with partners processing via our gateway to ensure optimised authorisation rates and ease of setup and integration.
What you'll bring The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and understanding. They must be naturally curious and strive to become a subject matter expert in their domain. You must have strong stakeholder management skills and effectively build organisational relationships. You must be comfortable working at a high level, e.g. explaining high-level problem statements to Senior Leadership and breaking down the stories to the squads for delivery. You must exhibit your capability to work cross-functionally and influence both the delivery team and the business in meeting objectives.
5+ years of Technical Business Analysis experience Demonstrable experience in working with software solutions that have front and back ends Demonstrable experience in working within an Agile Scrum framework Extensive experience in working with Restful API and microservices technologies Extensive experience with Atlassian product suite, JIRA and Confluence Ability to create and work with Postman collections Strong written and verbal communication skills Previous experience in retail payments, payment orchestration and payment gateways What's in it for you We embrace diversity of thought and love to take on challenges with a pragmatic and innovative approach.
