GravattJoin a supportive and friendly team working together to make a real difference not only for the people we care for, but also each otherSouthern Cross Care QLD has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Finance team based at our Support Centre, conveniently located in Upper Mt Gravatt.What can Southern Cross Care Queensland offer you?Competitive salary package + benefit of NFP salary sacrifice optionsOpportunity to join a supportive organisation with great staff cultureFinancial support programsOngoing individualised training and mentoring programsEmployee Assistance Program for employees and their familiesPurpose driven organisation making a real differenceConvenient central location with free parking onsite.About the roleWorking as a Senior Business Analyst, you will be supporting the Chief Financial Officer with SCCQ's strategic growth opportunities through the development of long-term strategic forecasts, scenario analysis as well as forward planning and modelling.Key Accountabilities Of The Role Would IncludeShort-term and long-term forecasting and financial modelling to provide the organisation with robust forecast and scenario planning capability.Supporting SCCQ with strategic growth plans through long-term strategic forecasts for the current portfolio and future opportunities.Assisting the CFO with due diligence tasks and preparation of business cases for Board and Committees.Understanding preliminary assessments of investment opportunities in terms of investment gates, IRR, NPV and ROI.Undertaking full financial analysis of strategic projects including discounted cash flow analysisUndertaking post implementation review of strategic projectsContributing to the development and implementation of short and long-term investment and funding strategies to maintain the ongoing financial sustainability of SCCQ.Identifying opportunities to improve business performance and service delivery.Supporting Business Analysts to ensure benchmarking analysis is regularly undertaken with key industry benchmarking surveys to assist with driving top quartile performance.Providing financial modelling support for operational initiatives and strategic decision-making.Providing analysis on potential impact of proposed changes to government policy and funding models to identify risks and opportunities.What you will bring to the role?Tertiary qualification in accounting, business or related fieldCA/CPA/CIMA qualification or equivalent5+ years financial analysis and advanced modelling skillsExperience in Aged Care, Retirement living, home and community care (desirable)Experience leveraging data-driven insights to optimise business performance and strategic decision-makingStrong analytical skills and keen attention to detailAbility to clearly communicate complex data, insights and recommendations to key stakeholdersExperience in an organisation with a dispersed geographic service baseDemonstrated understanding of business analytics tools and enterprise information managementDemonstrated experience with the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products with a superior capability in MS Excel.Who is Southern Cross Care Queensland?Southern Cross Care Queensland (SCCQ) is a Catholic not-for-profit organisation established by the Knights of the Southern Cross, more than 40 years ago.
