As a group, we are growing rapidly and as part of the Queensland Energy and Jobs Plan (QEJP) , actively helping to advance the energy transition towards net zero.Our Digital Division currently has a permanent, full-time opportunity available for a Senior Business Analyst to be located at any of our major locations – Brisbane, Toowoomba, Maryborough, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville or Cairns – and are inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates.About your new role:Working as the Senior Business Analyst (BA), you support the digital platforms in our Non-Regulated team by analysing business, process, and system requirements, and proposing solutions to deliver value to our key stakeholders.You work within the BA skillset while considering organisational context, complying with EQL's corporate governance framework and the Digital Division's best practices and standards.Your experience and understanding of the electricity market and the roles of each participant further your ability to facilitate the initiation of projects and programs of work, as well as provide a foundation for sound strategy on the change required in the delivery of identified works.You drive positive change by collaborating with the Retail and Yurika Businesses, Digital Services, and Delivery Partner leaders. Salary sacrifice options available for novated leases for personal use.About you:You're an experienced IT professional who has extensive experience working in the Business Analytics space and strong competency in the creation of initiation documentation for projects .Comfortable operating within a complex and rapidly evolving business landscape , you have a solid strength in agile delivery and planning methodologies, tools and techniques with a proven track record in increasing efficiency, reducing waste and enhancing stakeholder and customer satisfaction .You hold expert proficiency in the below skills :Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring;Requirements Elicitation and Analysis;Requirements Lifecycle Management; andCollaboration.You leverage your exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills , and your ability to build rapport, establish healthy long-term working relationships, and foster teamwork within multi-disciplinary teams .If you're a person who can effortlessly capture concepts on paper, identify technical impacts and help to shape the path forward as part of a new team , then we want to hear from you.Most importantly, you strongly align with our values : We're Safe – We Belong – We Grow – We Deliver.About us:Energy Queensland is the group of electricity distribution, retail, and energy services businesses 100% owned by the state of Queensland.
