THE ROLE We're seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Fitzroy team full-time, driving financial insights and sustainability across BSL's impactful programs.
Drive Business Initiatives: Play a key role in supporting business initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering actionable financial insights.
Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Commercial Analysis and Compliance: Evaluate business cases, manage contract tenders, and ensure financial compliance with Australian Accounting Standards.

To be considered for the role and be successful in it, we're looking for someone who has the following key skills and experiences: Relevant Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Economics; CA/CPA qualified with a strong foundation in financial principles.
Experience in Industry-Specific Compliance: Experience managing financial processes within sectors like Aged Care, NDIS, or grant-funded programs, ensuring compliance with unique regulatory and funding requirements.
Experience in Systems Implementations and Reporting Tools: Proven track record in implementing systems e.g.
project accounting modules, to enhance operational efficiency.
Understanding and experience of enterprise Business Intelligence reporting, preferably with Power BI.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to engage with and guide operational managers, fostering collaboration and delivering impactful insights.
Demonstrable experience in partnering non-finance functions.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with business intelligence tools; familiarity with Microsoft D365 is preferred.
