Federal Government RoleInitial Contract until 30th June, 2025 + 2 x 12-month extensionsLocation: Canberra with Hybrid work arrangementsMust have an ability to obtain Baseline Security ClearanceBridge IT Engineering is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a reputed government department to understand business processes and determine business requirements for systems.Key duties and responsibilitiesThis IT Business Communication Specialist / Business Analyst role works within Projects and Initiatives to support the programs of work being delivered in 2025, including the Cloud Enablement Program, Zero Trust Program, and various ITG BAU change initiatives.Support the project team with client communications, change management, training documentation, end-user engagement activities, and supplementing business analyst services as needed.Work with stakeholders, internal communications team, and service centre to ensure well-crafted messages and documentation sets are produced to meet and/or exceed client expectations in a timely manner.Facilitate the business change management aspects of the programs to support the technical changes being undertaken.Influence stakeholders to support Project/Programs of Work – Work with stakeholders, technical teams, and end-user community to create awareness, support, and guidance that ensures the successful rollout of programs of work.Create and communicate solutions – Processes, Knowledge Articles, Support documentation, and transition communications.Document Technical & Business Requirements - Work with IT Teams and user communities to formulate and document requirements, identifying, investigating, and analyzing business processes, procedures, and work practices.Create process and support documentation for both IT and end-user audiences.Create reports and contribute to the project documentation set.Create functional and technical specifications.The key programs are Cloud Enablement and Zero Trust.
It would be advantageous for the applicant to have some technical knowledge and an IT background; preference will be given to experience with Cyber Security and Transitioning to Cloud projects.Technical skills- Qualified practitioner with higher degree qualifications or relevant industry experience of more than 5 years - Performs an extensive range and variety of complex technical or professional work activities.CriteriaThe buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one-page pitch to address all criteria specified.
