The Senior Business Analyst provides support to the P&SCO Portfolio through the analysis of current procurement practices and the identification of improved operational approaches based on data inputs and industry best practices. The Senior Business Analyst will also provide additional support to teams for specific procurement exercises as required.
The successful candidate will apply relevant analytical techniques to elicit and document complex requirements (e.g., Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) and analysis) to identify inconsistencies or inefficiencies in current business processes. Additionally, you will develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across Corporate Enterprise Solutions and the P&SCO Portfolio.

Experience working as an SAP Functional Analyst, preferably in procurement or supply chain.Sound knowledge of procurement and/or supply chain, and mechanisms associated with data management and control.Illustrated understanding of S/4HANA procurement and/or supply chain processes, functions, standards, tables and data.Demonstrated experience in the effective use of analysis tools and in using data to support business decisions, including demonstrated experience in Microsoft applications (e.g. MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint) and the ability to create text templates, charts, pivot tables and presentations.Understands the complexities and diversity of working in complex environments with overarching public service obligations.Ability to adopt contemporary established practices, ideas or developments elsewhere and adapt them to meet current needs.Strong experience in business process modelling activities for complex organisations and the ability to provide advice and recommendations on the application of appropriate business analysis techniques, methodologies, and tools.High level communication, facilitation and engagement skills, with the proven ability to develop effective working and strategic relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders in an overall environment of change and evolution.The department is committed to leadership at all levels of our organisation, in this role you will be required to display the following leadership behaviours:
