About the role...
As Senior Business Analyst, you are comfortable getting hands on with a demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems, making use of critical thinking and analytical skills.
You will be driven to influence your team and your peers to deliver high quality, scalable and secure solutions to drive the business forward.
Working with key internal and external stakeholders, you will identify and implement process improvements that lead to increased efficiency and cost savings.
You will promote iterative delivery principles and practices to ensure Requirements are validated, business value confirmed and resulting solutions appropriate to scale of Great Southern Bank balancing cost, speed to value and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
With a focus on delivery, you adopt an approach that applies transparency, visibility and collaboration whilst supporting delivery team to make demonstrable progress towards outcomes.
You apply the principles of the Great Southern Bank Delivery Model: members at the heart of everything we do, test and validate ideas, deliver incremental value, ongoing benefits management and balance these with a strong risk management approach.
The Enterprise Delivery team work collaboratively to support and guide our stakeholders, and to apply the delivery lifecycle to initiatives that enable Great Southern Bank to deliver on its strategic objectives.
About you...
7+ years' experience working in Financial Services, on large strategic IT programs as a Business Analyst across multiple environments using traditional and iterative delivery techniques3+ year's experience working with Software as a Service vendors, implementing business facing solutionsWell-developed business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, modelling and options analysis.Comfortable facilitating requirement elaboration workshops with senior business stakeholders and running solution walkthroughs of working softwareTakes ownership of their part of the solution, from requirements through to implementation and rolloutComfortable working with Change Management to effectively communicate the impact of the change to the businessDegree in Management, Business, IT or similarAgile, MSP or similarly certified practitioner will be viewed favourablyPreferably 3+ years' experience working with Risk or Compliance teams Preferably 3+ years' experience implementing Governance, Compliance and Risk (GRC) systems
