We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with proven experience designing, testing and supporting digital products for data collection. Having data analysis experience is beneficial as you will be working closely with the statistical team to deliver a solution used to collect and produce ABS statistics. This information is used to assist government in strengthening policy decision making and support evaluation. It informs important decisions across Australia, including by governments, businesses, local communities, and individual people and households. Key partnerships exist with government agencies including the Reserve Bank of Australia, Treasury, Department of Social Services, universities and the private sector.
The responsibilities of a Senior Business Analyst may include:

What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a minimum of three years' experience leading the analysis and design of digital business systems. You must have most or all the following:
analytical and conceptual skills, including the ability to problem solve and make decisions based on analytical evidence eliciting and documenting requirements including producing project documentation excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills, that can be used in both internal and external environmentsability to facilitate workshopsexperience in generating and communicating process and data model documentation. Also highly desirable are: academic qualifications in Business information systems, statistics, mathematics, economics, psychology/social sciences, or other fields with a strong quantitative componentstrong working knowledge of relevant applications, including Sparx Enterprise Architecture and JIRA.
