Overview of the role This is a fantastic time to be joining Suncorp as the industry goes through significant change.
A Senior Business Analyst is required for our multi-year Document Simplification Program (DSP) joining existing Senior BA's already assigned.
We are looking for strong Business Analysis skills and policy administration systems knowledge together with experience in co-ordinating multi-stream business requirements and supporting overall delivery alongside the delivery lead.
You will have the opportunity to join our large Analysis Chapter that supports a variety of medium to large scale programs across the Suncorp Group.
The Chapter consists of around 250 like-minded analysts, where ideas and best practice are shared via masterclasses and knowledge sharing.
You will support projects being delivered in a continuous delivery model (Agile) and supporting the platform.

What you'll do: Lead discovery and delivery requirements for own work/discount within DSP, co-ordinating across multiple streams Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently.
Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable.
Create detailed user stories (in JIRA) to support delivery.
Suncorp offers a hybrid way of working where you will be expected to be in the office approx.
2 days per week.
What you'll bring: Minimum of 3 year's Senior Business Analyst experience working on large multi-year programs Policy administration systems knowledge beneficial Background in Insurance or financial services desired Agile experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation.
Must be able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements.
Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference.
Must be able to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines.
