Senior Business Analyst - Digital TransformationFulltime Hybrid | 6-Month Contract Role About the Role

This role is a key part of the Digital Transformation division, dedicated to redefining service delivery for exceptional community engagement and streamlined processes.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to drive critical digital projects, focusing on enhancing community services and staff experience processes. This role will bridge the gap between technical solutions and business needs, aligning transformation initiatives with strategic goals to deliver superior outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Lead documentation and collaboration efforts to uplift the internal knowledge base system, mapping processes across key services and integrating business policies and procedures.Develop detailed Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) and user stories with acceptance criteria, securing approvals before project development.Partner with business and technical teams to define requirements, influencing solution design directions.Assist in project management activities, including backlog development and prioritisation, in collaboration with the Program Lead and Project Manager.Provide actionable insights using data analytics to inform service delivery improvements and customer satisfaction enhancements.Identify and document process inefficiencies, recommending solutions to improve internal efficiency and productivity.Monitor project timelines, dependencies, and risks to ensure alignment with transformation goals. Develop and execute detailed deployment plans covering business and technical readiness.Ensure compliance with data governance, usage standards, and organisational objectives in all proposed solutions.Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams to ensure clear communication and mutual understanding.Mentor junior team members and foster the delivery of high-quality project outcomes.Support change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of new systems and processes.Collaborate with QA teams to define and execute testing protocols to meet operational standards.Manage vendor relationships to ensure products and services meet requirements.Develop and deliver training programs to drive effective user adoption of new systems.Establish and track performance metrics to assess solution effectiveness, reporting findings to senior management.Essential Criteria Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.5–7 years of experience in business analysis within large, complex organisations.Proven track record in digital transformation projects with a solid understanding of digital technologies and platforms.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments.Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools such as MS Project, MS Planner, Promapp, and Miro.Desirable Criteria Experience with workflow management processes, CRM systems, or systems in the public sector or community services context.Expertise in managing large-scale digital transformation initiatives.If you're passionate about driving impactful digital transformation initiatives and thrive in collaborative, innovative environments, we'd love to hear from you!
