About the role: This 12-month fixed term contract is a unique opportunity to enhance your digital knowledge within a collaborative and supportive team environment. Working closely with experienced professionals you gain exposure to end-to-end delivery within the ecommerce lifecycle of our digital platforms and assets.
To succeed in this role, you will have strong all-round business analysis skills (minimum 4 years'), have experience working in digital projects (web, mobile, ecommerce etc), be a great team player who has strong organisational and communication skills, and be able to build relationships and rapport quickly with your peers, project colleagues and business stakeholders.
You will join our large Analysis Chapter that supports a large variety of programs across the Suncorp Group. The Chapter consists of around ~250 like-minded analysts, where ideas and best practice are shared via masterclasses and knowledge sharing, helping you grow in the "how" while delivering the "what". You will support projects being delivered in a continuous delivery model (Agile) as well as initiatives using traditional project delivery models.

What you'll do: Support delivery of Suncorp's digital strategy by delivering change activities to support improved digital customer experiences across Suncorp's network of insurance brands.Work collaboratively with delivery teams, squad members and business stakeholders to identify, capture, plan and deliver the scope of work.Gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.Use appropriate systems, tools and processes to proactively discover requirements; facilitate workshops, synthesise information accurately, completely and coherently to produce designs that realise Tribe outcomes.Adopt Suncorp's Design Management Framework to elaborate on requirements, create acceptance criteria, compile story cards/user stories and estimate effort.Apply sound comprehension of Suncorp business context including strategy, key systems/process, and critical issues/constraints.Solve business and technical problems using a methodical and consultative approach.Support testing, change management, training and business roll-out of solutions.Document current and future-state processes (as-is/to-be).Manage risks, issues and change requests using established tools and frameworks.Champion and role model a delivery excellence culture with full information transparency, decision making at pace and mutual trust and teamwork.What you'll bring: Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Senior Business Analyst working in the Digital domain including but not limited to experience in Web, Mobile and Digital Payment assets.Experience working in Digital projects including understanding APIs, Web and Mobile App UI.Understand rest APIs and is able to help draft an API contract liaising with Technical SMEs.Understand customer journey and is able to work with UX designers, and developers to come up with optimal tech solution to a business problem.Elicit and define business requirements, translate into technical requirements for developers.Agile /JIRA experience required.Experience in building and influencing successful business relationships.Experience in creating user stories, defining as-is to-be processes and managing risks/issues/change requests.Insurance or financial services industry experience advantageous.What we can offer you: Discounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well insurance products.A range of flexible working and leave options, including 20 weeks paid parental leave, 4 weeks secondary carer leave, and unlimited paid emergency response leave.Invest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programs.Give back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching and paid volunteer leave.Prioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee council.About Suncorp: We're proud to be a part of the Suncorp family alongside some of Australia's most trusted and diverse names in insurance.
