Within Westpac Private Wealth, we seek to provide unique and differentiated insights, expertise, and opportunities for high net worth clients. Global Investment Services provides clients with expertise across a broad range of domestic and international investment opportunities, including fixed income and credit, equities, real estate, structured notes, managed solutions, venture capital and private equity.
In this role you will be part of our business product development team that is responsible for delivering critical technology projects for Global Investment Services.
You will be responsible for:
Reviewing data structures/models and system functions, and completing root cause and gap analysis;Applying Westpac records management methodologies to Global Investment Services systems;Working with stakeholders across business and technical teams to sequence project deliverables for Global Investment Services;Defining business and functional requirements supporting the Private Wealth Global Investment Service;Writing user stories for the various user types (customer, banker, investment specialist, markets desk, operations, product);Working with project teams to deliver business process/product changes and system enhancements;Developing, updating and executing test plans of system functionality;Performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), unit testing & Post Implementation Verification (PIV) for releases;Writing procedures, processes and documentation for new systems, enhancements and business process changes.What's in it for me? What do I need? We are looking for a confident Business Analyst with demonstrated experience in agile product delivery, stakeholder management and strong attention to detail. Our ideal candidate is someone who is motivated, a strong collaborator and challenges the status quo to deliver great value to our customers and our business.

Demonstrated experience in business analysis in financial servicesExperience in the product lifecycle across multiple asset classesAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office suite; Word, Excel, PowerPointStrong verbal, written and presentation skills with experience facilitating solution workshopsAbility to build trusted relationships with stakeholdersStrong teamwork skills and an ability to work as part of a high performing teamAgile delivery experience including Jira and Confluence toolsExperience with SQL databases and Teradata and proficiency with SQL queriesExperience with records management lifecycles will also be favourable.What's it like to work there?
