In return, you'll be supported to bring your own ideas to the table and challenge conventions - with the aim of making life a little brighter, simpler and better for our customers and each other.About the role:Fantastic permanent opportunity within the commercial insurance space for a Senior Business Analyst who has a good background in regulatory change and the insurance policy lifecycle.You will have at least 4 years' BA experience including working within the commercial/consumer insurance industry, have good technical capability and can understand the technical impacts as the business problem is being presented.You will have the opportunity to join our large Analysis Chapter that supports a variety of medium to large scale programs across the Suncorp Group. The Chapter consists of around 200 like-minded analysts, where ideas and best practice are shared via masterclasses and knowledge sharing.What you'll doBuild strong relationships through engagement with customers, colleagues, and other key stakeholdersDocument current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesize information accurately, completely, and coherently.Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable.Create detailed user stories to support delivery.Work close with squad / project members, including but not limited to Delivery lead, Scrum Master, Developers, Tech Leads, and Business stakeholders to identify, capture, plan and deliver the scope of work.Working in an Agile continuous delivery environment and be responsible for analysing and documenting requirements, facilitate workshops and design solution sessionsWhat you'll bringMinimum 4+ years' Business Analysis experienceMUST have experience working in the Commercial/Consumer Insurance industryProven experience in regulatory and or reinsurance project deliveryStrong understanding of the insurance policy lifecycleStrong attention to detailAbility to capably link between squad and tribe members to solve complex business problemsGood technical capability, can understand the technical impacts as the business problem is being presentedExperience with standard Agile tools i.e. Jira & confluenceWhat we can offer you:Discounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as banking and insurance products.A range of flexible working and leave options, including 20 weeks paid parental leave, 4 weeks secondary carer leave, and unlimited paid emergency response leave.Invest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programs.Give back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching and paid volunteer leave.Prioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee council.About Suncorp Group:We're proud to be a part of the Suncorp Group family alongside some of Australia's most trusted and diverse names in insurance.
