Kmart is modernising and optimising our end-to-end supply chain systems and operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and deliver a safer working environment for our team and faster delivery of products to nearly 500 stores throughout Australia and New Zealand.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating work prioritization across squads, managing third-party involvement, and overseeing production releases. Your expertise in workshop facilitation and stakeholder management will be key in driving successful outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
Coordinate work prioritization across squads and manage efforts that require third-party involvement. Facilitate workshops, including Discovery and Inception sessions, to gather requirements and insights. Create and update templates for business analysis deliverables to ensure consistency and quality. Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication and collaboration. Support the recruitment and onboarding of Business Analysts and mentor junior BAs to foster their development. Provide technical advice and recommendations on solutions to Product Owners. Contribute to the squad roadmap and assist in creating a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for the roadmap's N+1 view. To be successful in the role you'll have:
7+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years working in an Agile delivery environment. Strong experience in executing Business Analyst roles and deliverables. Proficient in requirement elicitation techniques such as discovery workshops, brainstorming, and prototyping. Solid analytical skills, including AS-IS, TO-BE, GAP analysis, feasibility studies, opportunity assessments, and cost-benefit analysis. Familiarity with documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence, and presentation/collaboration tools like Miro, Draw.io, Visio, and MS PowerPoint. Benefits we'll offer you:
