Senior Business Analyst - 12-month contractAbout the roleThe Senior Business Analyst (SBA) plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality solutions that drive business success and enhance customer satisfaction. This dynamic position involves guiding business partners and end users to improve processes, products, services, and software through insightful, data-driven analysis. The SBA must possess an inquisitive mind, experience in SBA operations, and a willingness to learn and question with confidence and care.As a key player in Program MORE, the SBA manages the entire business requirements lifecycle, from elicitation and workshops to documentation and validation. The role demands close collaboration with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and Scrum teams to ensure features and stories are refined and ready, with complete acceptance criteria. Additionally, the SBA analyses data and processes to develop viable solutions that enhance member experience, actively participates in Agile ceremonies, and produces essential business analysis artefacts.The SBA also supports the business through user acceptance testing and drives continuous improvement efforts within Program MORE. The SBA will have a specific focus of the program streams Governance Reporting and Framework Policies and Standards.Essential duties and responsibilities will include:Manage the end-to-end business requirements lifecycle.Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, and Scrum teams.Analyse data and processes to drive viable solutions.Participate in Agile ceremonies and estimations.Produce business analysis artefacts like process maps and gap analysis.Confirm and defend the scope of testing required.Support business acceptance/user acceptance test cases.Assist in expanding business analysis concepts and practices.Lead measurable continuous improvement efforts.Ensure alignment of project outcomes with TMBL's strategic priorities.About you:Strong experience in projects or business change initiatives.Proven exposure to methodologies like SDLC, Agile, Rapid, Lean, PMBOK, PRINCE2.Ability to plan and facilitate discovery and co-design engagement activities.Proficiency in process modelling, journey mapping, and managing requirements.Deep understanding of programme governance frameworks.Advanced analytical and data modelling skills.About usTeachers Mutual Bank Limited is one of the largest mutual banks in Australia.
