Current opportunity
As part of our Business Advisory division, you will work under the leadership of highly experienced Managers and Directors and be part of a friendly, professional team . You will have the opportunity to deliver accounting services to a range of clients while supporting the work of the team as a whole.
Based in our Perth CBD office, you will be surrounded by specialists with technical expertise and receive high-quality training and solid support to propel your career.
The role Manage the planning, execution and completion of client assignmentsPrepare financial statements, management and annual accountsPreparing tax returns including, GST, PAYE, FBTLiaising directly with clients to respond to queries or provide information, as requestedAssist Managers with reviewing files as requestedDelegate and work closely with team members in IndiaProvide and analyse financial and non-financial information to assist clients to monitor performanceParticipating in and contributing to team meetingsDevelop a deep understanding of various management accounting packagesDevelopment of reporting that helps client better understand the drivers of their business and actions they can take to improve performanceAbout you
To be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
3+ years' experience in a Business Advisory environmentCA/CPA Qualification or working towards thisThe ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise work to meet internal and external expectationsBe able to work autonomously and communicate effectively to managers and directorsAnalysis, judgement and problem solving to be able to define problems, break them down into component parts, define goals, conduct research, and deliver high standard results based on systematic and rational decisionsPlanning and organising oneself to prioritise tasks, plan ahead and have a structured approach to work; set up & monitor timescalesResilience and adaptability to maintain effective work behaviour in the face of setbacks and/or pressureExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsBachelor's degree in Commerce or related fieldLife at Nexia
