Job Description Oversee all day-to-day financial transactions related to our property portfolio.Generate and present financial reports to the management team. Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.Commission Payroll / Salary Payroll and lodging superannuation.Assistance lodging BAS.Support month-end and year-end close processes.Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Assist with tax audits and tax returns.Ensure compliance with all internal processes.Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process. The Successful Applicant The successful candidate should have:
A degree in Finance, Accounting and a registered BAS Agent.Proven experience as an All-rounder/Senior Finance Officer/ Senior Bookkeeper/ BAS Agent.A strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.Strong communicator capable of dealing with external queries from clients.Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures.Familiarity with financial accounting statements.Proficient experience with accounting systems such as MS Excel or Xero. Accuracy and attention to detail.Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.A proactive approach to problem-solving.
