Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting (Accounting) We're seeking a proficient Senior Bookkeeper to join our Accounting & Finance team. This role encompasses maintaining our clients' financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Our client is a respected player in the property industry with a significant presence in the Brisbane Market. They manage all Accounting practices of their Partnered locations from within their Indooroopilly based office.
Description Oversee all day-to-day financial transactions related to our property portfolio.Generate and present financial reports to the management team. Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.Commission Payroll / Salary Payroll and lodging superannuation.Assistance lodging BAS.Support month-end and year-end close processes.Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Assist with tax audits and tax returns.Ensure compliance with all internal processes.Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.Profile The successful candidate should have:
A degree in Finance, Accounting and a registered BAS Agent.Proven experience as an All-rounder/Senior Finance Officer/ Senior Bookkeeper/ BAS Agent.A strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.Strong communicator capable of dealing with external queries from clients.Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures.Familiarity with financial accounting statements.Proficient experience with accounting systems such as MS Excel or Xero.Accuracy and attention to detail.Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.A proactive approach to problem-solving.Job Offer A competitive salary package of AUD 80,000 - AUD 110,000 per annum plus super, commensurate of experience.The flexibility of working from home (WFH) options.A real opportunity to make this role your own.Chance to contribute to a company with a strong presence in the property industry.An inclusive culture that values employee input and ideas.If you're excited by the prospect of joining a leading property company in Indooroopilly, please apply today.
