About the role
As a bookkeeper, your key responsibilities will include:
Review work papersReconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledgers, etc.Liaise with clients across industries such as medical, engineering, retail, manufacturing, and more!Work on a key portfolio of clients that you will build long-standing relationships with, and have solid insight into their businessesWork on more complicated payroll tasks for clientsWork alongside a strong team of 9, including: a Partner, a manager, two bookkeepers onshore, and a team of 4 bookkeepers offshore.Skillset and Experience
The ideal candidate should have:
MINIMUM 2-3 years experience in a public practice accounting firm in AustraliaExperience working as a bookkeeper, supporting multiple clientsWorked with business clients with a turnover of at least $2 millionDemonstrated experience with MYOB AE, MYOB, and Xero - ideal!Confidence and demonstrated experience with building strong client relationshipsGreat work ethic | motivation | positive and honest attitude | enjoys a good laugh!The Benefits
