Position
This is a new hire for the business, brought about by the onboarding of a significant family office client.
As a Senior Bookkeeper, your primary focus will be on the family office group and its various entities, providing you with variety and consistency by working closely with fewer stakeholders.
This allows for a deeper understanding of the client's needs and the ability to deliver exceptional results.
Flexibility: Work two to three days from home, negotiable start/finish times and for the right candidate, open to part-time (30 Hours per week - Ideal if returning from parental leave).Tailored Workload: Focus on a single family office client and its entities, providing variety with fewer stakeholders.Comprehensive Support: Benefit from regular training, mentoring, and access to a supportive team culture.Work-Life Balance: Flexible hours, early finishes during non-peak periods, and no emails or calls after hours.Your day-to-day will include: Managing the end-to-end bookkeeping process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll for the family office and its entities.Preparing BAS statements, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial reports.Supporting outsourced finance functions, such as cash flow management, budgeting, and assisting with financial systems.Collaborating closely with internal accountants and the client's team to ensure seamless integration of bookkeeping and compliance services.Using cloud-based accounting platforms and automation tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.Ideal for Someone Who: Has 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally with exposure to group entities or family offices.Is proficient in cloud-based accounting software (Xero and MYOB) and experienced with BAS and financial reporting.Thrives on accuracy and organization, ensuring all deliverables meet high standards.Values a flexible and open-minded work environment that supports their career goals and personal needs.To apply for the position, we kindly request that you utilise the Quick Apply button provided within this advertisement.
