Urbis has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Bid Consultant to join our Brand and Clients team in Sydney!
In this newly created national role you will be pivotal in driving growth in our business, particularly within our Government portfolio by building the internal infrastructure and processes around bid and tender management that will enhance our ability to win work.
You will be responsible for influencing work winning behaviours, ensuring high quality outputs, consistency and compliance.
You will:
Work with the Public Sector Lead and Business Development Manager to develop systems and processes that support Urbis' ability to win work through tenders and bids; Continually identify opportunities for improvement to ensure the bid management processes are optimised; Provide strategic and tactical advice to Directors and Associate Directors in the development of bids, tenders and submissions to support capability uplift; Support in building tools and resources that enable the business to win work, whilst ensuring national consistency in approach and content optimisation; Centrally manage procurement panels, tender alerts and tender portals nationally; Manage a library of standard content that can be used as a self-service toolkit for the business; Support with administrative business development tasks such as opportunity tracking; Act as an SME and trusted adviser to the business on work winning best practice bid and tender management.
About you:
Strong bids and tenders experience with preference for Professional Services or B2B setting; Demonstrated experience working on large Government tenders - desired; Technical knowledge of business development; Knowledge of real estate/built environment sector will be highly regarded; Experience in influencing within a professional services firm or large corporate; Highly collaborative, with strong communication and influencing skills; Ability to work autonomously; Track record building internal systems and processes.
