The Role: BV is seeking an experienced Senior Solar/BESS Electrical Engineer.
The candidate should have a high-level understanding of the energy yield assessments and experience in design review, verification, and assessment of renewable energy plants.
This may include budget, schedule, quality, risk, contract and stakeholder management, supervision of construction, procurement activities, involvement with negotiations with EPC, and management of industrial relations.
Key Responsibilities: Solar/BESS site visits, inspections, RCAs High-level understanding of the energy yield assessments Design review, verification, and assessment of renewable energy plants Experience with EPC, O&M, and module supply agreement contract reviews Perform technical due diligence, construction monitoring, and payment milestone authorization of the Solar and BESS Manage the projects as the owner's or lender's engineer Knowledge of wind projects is a plus Manage other engineering sub-consultants to meet the requirements of BV's clients Maintain communication with engineers of other international BV offices Facilitate information sharing in the area of electrical engineering for renewable energy plants Client liaison, including development and continual review of client requirements, managing client expectations, keeping clients informed of work progress and ensuring timely production of deliverables Participate and represent BV in renewable energy conferences, events, etc. Any other tasks requested by the Engineering Manager Qualifications and Experiences: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Master's is preferred Working in the consultancy environment as owner and lender engineer Solar/BESS farm site experiences Ability to work under pressure Excellent report writing skills This role may require 20-30% of travel The Benefits: We offer a competitive salary package and an opportunity to advance your career in a leading global organization, as well as:
