As a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner, you'll report to the Regional Clinical Manager for the ACT.
Providing support to a caseload of participants, you'll play a crucial role in conducting assessments, writing behavioural support plans and programmes and assisting with the implementation of plans.
You'll assist the Regional Clinical Manager with providing clinical supervision and may also support participants with particularly challenging and complex needs.
The work is based on the principles of Multi-Element Behaviour Support (MEBS) and Positive Behaviour Support for children and adults in the home, community, and school/workplace settings.
What you'll do Provide direct behavioural interventions for participants in individual and group sessionsProvide support and training to employees on clinical techniquesSupport the Regional Clinical Manager with providing clinical supervision to the Behaviour Support Practitioner teamDevelop Functional Behavioural Assessments and Behaviour Analysis Support PlansDevelop and maintain professional relationships with all key stakeholdersWork with varying professionals including doctors, psychiatrists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to develop and implement individualised client goals and checklistsDesired Skills and ExperienceWhat you'll need A bachelor's degree and/or post graduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour SupportStrong professional experience in Positive Behaviour Support servicesDemonstrated experience providing clinical expertise, supervision and leadership in a team of Behaviour Support PractitionersHigh level oral and written communication skills including the demonstrated ability to prepare and finalise technical reports in a timely mannerDemonstrated and effective time management skills including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities set in a fast-paced environmentCurrent NDIS Screening and Working with Children Checks and an NDIS Practitioner ID.Valid driver's licence and vehicleWillingness to complete introductory IABA training in Non-Linear Multi-element Positive Behaviour SupportWorking at CPBS CPBS is thrilled to be the current recipient of Most Outstanding Positive Behaviour Support Provider Worldwide, at The Globals!
