As a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner, you'll report to the Regional Clinical Manager for the ACT.
Providing support to a caseload of participants, you'll?play a crucial role in conducting assessments, writing behavioural support plans and programmes and assisting with the implementation of plans.
You'll assist the Regional Clinical Manager with providing clinical supervision and may also support participants with particularly challenging and complex needs.
The work is based on the principles of Multi-Element Behaviour Support (MEBS) and Positive Behaviour Support for children and adults in the home, community, and school/workplace settings.
What you'll do   Provide direct behavioural interventions for participants in individual and group sessions?  Provide support and training to employees on clinical techniques?  Support the Regional Clinical Manager with providing clinical supervision to the Behaviour Support Practitioner team?  Develop Functional Behavioural Assessments and Behaviour Analysis Support Plans?  Develop and maintain professional relationships with all key stakeholders?  Work with varying professionals including doctors, psychiatrists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to develop and implement individualised client goals and checklists?  The Centre for Positive Behaviour Support (CPBS) is a globally recognised, leading national organisation dedicated to making behaviour support services accessible to all.

What you'll need?  A bachelor's degree and/or post graduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support  Strong professional experience in Positive Behaviour Support services  Demonstrated experience providing clinical expertise, supervision and leadership in a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners  High level oral and written communication skills including the demonstrated ability to prepare and finalise technical reports in a timely manner?  Demonstrated and effective time management skills including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities set in a fast-paced environment  Current?NDIS Screening and?Working with Children Checks and an NDIS Practitioner ID.
