Qualified Senior Beauty Therapist – Part Time
Kalon Skin and Wax are an up-and-coming beauty salon in Andergrove, Mackay who specialise in Facial Treatments and Brazilian Waxing.
We offer everyday essential beauty treatments including Dermalogica Facials, Advanced Facials, Peels, Brazilians, Body and Facial Waxing, Lash lifts, Hybrid Brows and Tinting. We are a super proud Dermalogica stockist and pride ourselves on our skin education and expert skin knowledge.
After opening almost 2 years ago, our salon is growing and we are going to need more beauty therapists to help look after our amazing clients.
Our new team member will ideally be available Thursday's and Friday's plus alternating Saturday's. These will be offered as permanent part time hours plus extra hours to help cover other staff members annal leave or sick leave when needed.
As your clientele builds this will give you the opportunity to extend your hours, even to full time if that's desired. We are flexible with our rostered hours and open to working around your other life commitments.
If you are a mum looking to return to the workforce then we are more than happy to help polish up your beauty skills if you have been out of the industry for a while.
Ideally our applicants will be-
- Qualified Diploma or Cert IV Beauty Therapist
- Experienced in Facials and Brazilians
- Willing to learn and keep up with industry standards/trends
- Happy to help train/educate/oversee trainees, apprentices or work experience students
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience with Dermalogica is a plus but not essential as full product knowledge and training will be provided
- This is a part time position leading to more hours or full time if desired
