Senior Azure Network Engineer

Rubix Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Azure Network Engineer to join our team and contribute to a large-scale modernization program. This role requires expertise in managing and operating both traditional infrastructure and cloud networks, with a strong focus on ensuring seamless interconnectivity. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Azure native technologies and have a structured approach to troubleshooting and incident management.
Key Responsibilities: Design, maintain, and implement changes to Azure cloud network infrastructure.Ensure smooth interconnectivity between traditional infrastructure and cloud networks.Collaborate effectively with a distributed team, working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Manage and troubleshoot network incidents, providing timely resolutions.Continuously optimize network performance and ensure robust security practices are in place.Participate in the modernization of network infrastructure as part of the ongoing program.Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience is a plus, but willingness to learn and adapt is highly valued.Tech Stack: All technologies are Azure native (no Palo Alto or other third-party solutions).Requirements: Proven experience in cloud networking, particularly with Azure.Strong background in incident management and a structured troubleshooting approach.Ability to work collaboratively within a distributed team environment.Baseline security clearance (must-have).Experience with Infrastructure as Code (preferred but not required).Benefits: 12-month contract with a 12-month extension option.Based in Canberra.Opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud modernization projects.If you're a Senior Azure Network Engineer looking for a challenging role in a dynamic team, feel free to apply directly or reach out to Stephanie at ******.
