We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineering Expert to join our team, providing in-depth technical expertise and guidance on the management and maintenance of key ICT platforms, with a particular focus on Microsoft Azure , Entra ID , and Azure Identity Management .
This role will work closely with third-party suppliers, as well as architecture and shared services teams, to ensure the secure and efficient operation of the business's technical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: Design & Implementation: Lead the design, implementation, and support of Active Directory and Entra ID environments, integrating systems and applications with centralized authentication via Azure Active Directory/Entra ID. Expert Consultation: Provide expert guidance on Azure Active Directory, Entra ID, Active Directory synchronization, and Azure MFA/Identity Protection. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare, update, and review technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and reports. Maintenance & Support: Manage regular patching and support packages for all technical layers in the environment. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and functionality of daily technical operations. Mandatory Criteria: Experience: 3+ years of experience with Windows Server, Windows Client, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Administration, ADFS, SSO, Azure MFA, and Identity Protection. Enterprise Support: 3+ years of experience supporting large, complex enterprise environments. Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows System Administration, PowerShell scripting, certificates, PKI, DNS, networking, and virtualization. Desired Skills: Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align operational activities with broader business goals. Independent & Collaborative: Ability to work independently under broad direction while collaborating with team members and stakeholders. Risk Management: Strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies. Advanced Knowledge: Expertise in OS concepts, load balancing, VPN technologies, and identity management. About You: You are a highly analytical and strategic thinker, comfortable working in complex, enterprise-scale environments. You have extensive experience with Azure, identity management, and Windows system administration, and are eager to drive technical excellence. You are passionate about cybersecurity, identity protection, and ensuring secure, efficient infrastructure operations. Eligibility Requirements: Citizenship: Australian citizenship is required for this role.
