MARS are partnering with a top 10 professional accounting firm, that's looking to hire a Senior Auditor to join their growing Business Advisory & Assurance division, due to business growth.
The successful candidate will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including ASX-listed companies.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to play a key role in delivering audit and assurance services within a dynamic team.
This position requires a strong understanding of accounting standards and the audit process.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of high-quality audit work, including planning, correspondence, documentation, and reporting.
Responsibilities: Follow audit planning memos and programs with precision.Develop and execute audit plans.Conduct financial and compliance audit fieldwork, including interim and final testing.Prepare clear and concise work papers in line with audit methodology.Prepare statutory financial statements and basic tax computations.Draft technical memos for review by managers and partners.Provide regular feedback to staff during and after assignments.Liaise with clients and managers to ensure timely job completion and reviews. Requirements: University educated and CA Qualified with strong academic performance.3-4+ years in an audit function within a Big 4 or Mid-Tier Chartered Firm.In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and tax, with a comprehensive understanding of the audit process and risk assessment.Proven capability to prepare work papers according to firm and divisional standards and to train junior staff in these procedures.Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks effectively to junior staff.Previous experience with Private, Not-For-Profit, Charities, and Government clients is highly desirable.
