Position Overview
Area9 is seeking a Senior Atlassian Solutions Engineer to join our team.
This role requires expert knowledge of Atlassian tools and a strong background in software development or business analysis, with a focus on problem solving, process design, and systems implementation.
You will be instrumental in streamlining workflows, automating tasks, and implementing our Atlassian platform solutions using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
Experience required:
3-5 years as a technical consultant or systems administrator, with a solid background in service design and delivery.
Proven history of successful customer engagement, including consulting and influencing at C-level.
Strong experience in Atlassian implementations, including installations, upgrades, migrations, and training.
Extensive experience with Atlassian products and familiarity with cloud and data center options.
Ability to create, configure, and optimize Jira workflows, schemes, fields, and permissions.
Proven ability to engage with clients to define goals and manage requirements effectively.
It would be ideal if you had:
Proficiency in scripting languages and experience with SQL.
An understanding of web application architecture and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
Familiarity with common security standards and compliance requirements in business environments.
Experience with Agile methodologies and ITIL/ITSM principles.
Qualifications
You will need a relevant qualification such as:
Qualification in Business Analytics, Software Development, or Systems Administration will be advantageous.
