The Team
We have a strong Class Actions presence nationally, assisting clients in prominent Class Actions, including the Worley Ltd shareholder class action, Stolen Wages and Stolen Generations class actions, and the Ruby Princess class action.
The team is led by experienced Joint Heads of Class Actions and supported by a dedicated team of Practice Leaders, Special Counsels, Senior Associates, and other legal professionals.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial litigator to join our established Class Actions team as a Senior Associate.
You will take a leading role on prominent cases, contributing to case strategy, expert evidence, and investigations into new class actions, with mentorship from experienced practitioners.
Responsibilities
You will:
Work closely within our Class Actions Leadership Team to provide representation for group members to obtain maximum compensation efficiently.Cultivate strong relationships with clients, peers, and stakeholders through exceptional communication and clear management of expectations.Develop proficiency in originating, assessing, investigating, and securing funding for new class action opportunities. To thrive in this role, you will have:
Significant experience as a solicitor with commercial litigation and/or personal injury experience.Experience in class actions, either pre or post-admission, is desirable but not essential.An innate ability to question and challenge the status quo.Strong verbal and written communication skills.A commitment to connecting with others and delivering exceptional results for clients.Passion, motivation, and enthusiasm to contribute to our culture.
