THE ROLE & THE TEAM: As part of our Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety team, you will have the opportunity to advise clients on a wide range of workplace relations, employment law, and safety matters, navigating complex legal issues with confidence and expertise. WHAT YOU BRING: Our Workplace Relations Team is seeking a Senior Associate with at least 8+ years' PQE, as well as: Defendant experience within a well-regarded practice A good understanding of employment law including drafting enterprise agreements, understanding the rights of employers to bring claims, unfair dismissal, and discrimination A good knowledge of awards and national employment standards Strong litigation and research skills Willingness to participate in knowledge sharing and business development activities to enhance your skills Desire to grow and develop with our team An ability to build effective working relationships with clients A demonstrated client following or ability to build new client relationships is an advantage WHY CHOOSE HICKSONS?
